Lately I’ve been finding more and more different ways to use twitter, everything from firefox add-ons, to stand alone programs to apps for your ipod, phone or blackberry.
I was curious about which Twitter clients were the most popular with my 1400+ followers, so I decided to do an unscientific poll.

So here are the results of my poll, with the most popular Twitter clients listed first. This may be helpful for some of you newer Twitter users who are still trying to choose a client. The most used Twitter clients are usually popular for good reason.

Out of the Twitter clients above the ones I’ve used the most include TwitterFox (firefox addon) and Tweet Deck. I also use TwitterFon and Twitterific when I’m out and I have my Ipod Touch with me. All of the clients offer a slightly different experience, and bring something different to the table. My suggestion? Try a bunch of them, and see how you like them. If it doesn’t suit your twittering needs – switch!
